Hello designer! Yes, exactly – a designer. After all, anyone who creates and transforms the space around them is the designer of their own home or even just a room.
It doesn’t matter whether you are creating a new interior from scratch or remodeling an existing one. It doesn’t matter whether in your own apartment or in a rented one. My theory of the Seven Facets of Interior will be useful to anyone who has ever thought about arranging their home. And even practicing designers.
This is a new look at creating and decorating an interior.
A beautiful interior from a photograph is just a picture. And the interior of your home is a living and dynamic ecosystem in which you should feel beautiful and comfortable. In this course, we will take you all the way from space architecture to decoration in order to create a harmonious and holistic design from scratch or “cut” an existing interior. Working with the interior according to the Seven Facets principle will forgive you both your lack of experience and your modest budget.
We will break down the interior into 7 simple and understandable blocks, learn how to work with them and discuss how each of them affects the others. My course “7 Facets of Interior” is not a set of disparate tips and rules, not a copied extract from academic courses, but a complete and step-by-step system that describes design elements and explains the relationships between them. Interior design is a creative process, but it still has logic and consistency. Having a clear structure in mind and learning to work with Edges, we will become more clear on how to apply the many rules and tips from designers, and why these rules work.
These are the 7 facets of the interior:
Geometry
Texture
Texture
Furniture
Lighting
Decor
Plants
In addition to learning about the Seven Facets theory, you will learn:
How to arrange furniture so that you can spend more time communicating with your family?
What makes white interiors look hospital, and why sometimes professionally designed interiors still seem flat and lifeless, and how to “revive” them?
What is the psychology behind color, and does it really work?
Is it possible to create a calm and sophisticated interior using three or more colors?
How to make a monochrome interior unusual and interesting?
How to combine different colors with wood and metal?
Why do most people use the wrong color wheel when choosing color combinations? Which circle is considered correct for interior design?
How to use nuances and contrast in the interior, and what will we achieve with this?
Is it possible to combine different lamps with each other? And if so, how?
How to create lighting scenarios?
How to combine decor into beautiful compositions?
What is a vignette and why is it needed on the bedside table?
How to select interior paintings?
and you will learn much, much more as I progress through my course.
Who is this course for:
The course is suitable for everyone who wants to create a harmonious and complete interior at home, but will also help novice designers look at the interior from a new perspective
